When a tsunami rose from the depths of the Indian Ocean in 2005, 250,000 people perished. The Boxing Day tragedy has gone down as one of the worst disasters of modern times. This retrospective talk will reflect on what's been learned in the ensuing years and what can be done to prevent another catastrophe on this scale.
