We all love an exclusive, especially when it comes to live entertainment. And in a world where the price of gig tickets, theatre shows and live events are constantly climbing, it’s pretty darn refreshing to hear that you can see a top-class production for just a tenner. The story is this. Two years after the end of their affair, John and Aga meet once more. There is a void in both of their lives, he’s immersed in a world of wealth and privilege, while she struggles to support her family by working as a chambermaid. Both feel the spark. Will they rekindle their fling or is there a darker game about to be played out? 'Nineteen Gardens' is written by Madga Miecznicka and is her first play in English, the production is directed by Hampstead Theatre's associate director Alice Hamilton.
