Time Out says
Come along to London's prestigious Southbank Centre for an entertaining evening of distinctive French orchestral music starring the dazzlingly brilliant viola virtuoso Dana Zemtsov. Former Royal Opera House concertmaster Peter Manning will conduct the Bath Festival Orchestra, which boasts a pedigree going back to the 1950s when it was founded by legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin. Enjoy an elegant overture by 19th-century Paris music scene trailblazer, Louise Farrenc, followed by heart-stoppingly beautiful melodies inspired by travels in Italy. With an evening of music drawn to a close with Poulenc’s fun, refreshing Sinfonietta, this night is set to be one to remember.
