Alexandra Kremer-Khomassouridze's latest project offers a unique insight into life in Baku, the Azeri capital. The photographer’s stunning exhibition features the passport-style portraits of 50 women from all backgrounds. In the black and white images, the subjects have one thing in common: first they are photographed with their faces visible. Then they are pictured with hijabs drawn. It's a simple concept, brilliantly executed.
