Roll up, roll up. Forgotten Circus brings you another fantastical day and night of wondrous live music, DJs, circus, cabaret and more at the legendary Proud Camden. This weekend brings you another eclectic blend of performers. From 3pm, they've got the amazing Lisa Ellipse from Schoola Hoop running a circus jam and drop-in workshop for anyone up for learning some tricks. Whether you're basically a pro, or have never picked up any circus toys before, they've got a fantastic space for you to learn and practice... As if that wasn't enough, their resident noise maker – Noisy Parrot – is back to wow you with more of his vocal tricks - fusing trip-hop melodies, catchy rhythms and thought-provoking poetry. Difficult to put into a box, but best described as as a beatboxer, loop artist and lyrical genius, his words of wisdom and sick beats will have you hypnotised. Later, French band Toonah will fuse aspects of the American deep south into something fabulously swinging, perfect for a spring Saturday. Expect jazzy riffs, bold vocals and rhythms you can wiggle your hips to. Barbarella's Bang Bang will then take the floor. Incorporating elements of European and gypsy folk with avante-garde punky sounds, Barbarella's Bang Bang are one of the most original and hypnotic bands to hit London this year. Guaranteed to get even the shyest of people up and dancing like it's the end of the world, Forgotten Circus are incredibly excited to be welcoming this band to the Proud stage! Last but not least, Miles Metric will be shaking his glitter-balls all over the place. Miles is a DJing unicorn who loves to smother his audiences in audio butter – gaining the nickname "cheesecake", he fuses a cheesy mix of nostalgic classics with a buttery biscuit bass. Playing bespoke events from themed parties to corporate gigs, club nights and everything in between, Miles brings his sparkly deliciousness wherever he goes. Trawling the internet for rare tracks and remixes to create the right atmosphere at bespoke events is a particular favourite part of the preparation process. He'll be DJing in the South Gallery from 11pm so bring your biggest shapes and your shiniest dancing shoes. In between each act, there'll be three cabaret and circus acts to dazzle and beguile you too. With an eclectic blend of acts, bucket-loads of glitter and face painting and endless fun, this is an event like no other. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Last entry: 10pm.
