Hailing from London, Nérija blends jazz, afrobeat and hip-hop. Join them on Friday 19 August as they celebrate the release of their eagerly anticipated debut EP. Nérija was recently nominated for Jazz FM's Breakthrough Act of the Year Award (2016), and appeared at Love Supreme, Latitude, Brainchild, Manchester Jazz Festival, Southbank Centre’s Friday Tonic series, The Great Escape and Jazz Re:Fest. Featuring Sheila Maurice-Grey on trumpet, Rosie Turton on trombone, Cassie Kinoshi on alto sax, Nubya Garcia on tenor sax, Shirley Tetteh on guitar, Inga Eichler on double bass and Lizy Exell on drums. Event runtime: 5:30pm-7pm. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed.
