ASQ is a quintet led by British saxophonist Arabella Sprot, who is now based in Berlin. For this Friday Tonic, the band present some of the material from their debut album Kafka's Dance, including pieces inspired by Franz Kafka and Mark Turner. The quintet features Nick Dewhurst on trumpet, Ric Yarborough on drums, Stuart Barker on bass and Steve Tromans on piano. This is a rare opportunity to see the band reunited following Arabella's move to Berlin in April 2014. Arabella is supported by the Musicians' Benevolent Fund. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed.
