Time Out says
We’re guessing you’ve seriously missed live music. We sure have. And few gigs are better than a classic concert by candlelight at Cadogan Hall – especially one from those exceptionally fine musicians at the London Concertante. For this concert they are being led by Guest Director Jonathan Stone (also on the violin), and will be performing a programme dedicated to classic Viennese Waltzes. That means some serious crowd pleasers from the likes of Strauss, Tchaikovsky and Brahms. So if you’re a fan of classical music? You’re going to be liking this.
What’s on the playlist?
Strauss – ‘Die Fledermaus Overture’
Tchaikovsky – ‘Sleeping Beauty Waltz’
Strauss – ‘Trisch-trasch Polka’
Brahms – ‘Hungarian Dance No. 5’
Tchaikovsky – ‘Nutcracker Suite’
Strauss – ‘Blue Danube Waltz’
