Time Out says
Forget what you thought you knew about organ recitals – this summer, Southwark Cathedral is shaking things up. Across four Mondays in August, you’ll find the likes of Wayne Marshall (fresh from conducting the Berliner Philharmoniker), award-winning soloist Simon Hogan, Paris’s Andrew Dewar and international star Isabelle Demers taking to the keys in one of London’s most awe-inspiring settings. Expect everything from Bach and Brahms to bold modern improvisations, plus pre-concert talks and a bar on site. At just £5 a ticket (usually £12), it’s a serious cultural steal.
Event schedule
