The Six by Nico team recently travelled to Istanbul, the only city bridging Europe and Asia. With just 48 hours to explore its vibrant culinary scene, they set out to craft a six-course tasting menu. Their journey led them through aromatic spice markets, bustling bazaars, and Turkish tea houses, inspiring dishes that reflect the rich flavours of Turkish cuisine.
The menu features delights like a refreshing cucumber and barbecue lettuce gazpacho, Chef Ahmet’s grilled chicken shish pide, and the richly spiced Adana lamb kebap. Each course, from the seabass with smoked almond foam to the spiced date cake with sour yoghurt sorbet, offers a new adventure, capturing the essence of the Turkish delights they discovered.
