Sola Akingbola – of Jamiroquai fame – and his band, Critical Mass, take the stage at the Temporary Theatre to bring you an explosive night of percussion funk – a heady mix of twisted guitars, percussion and synths, underpinned by a deep Yoruba-influenced groove. They will perform tracks from their forthcoming album and the promotional three-track CD Generation Vex, as well as re-arrangements of songs from Sola Akingbola’s solo album Routes to Roots.
