Her is teaming up with the Wild West Pop-Up Django Bango to create an all-woman, all-American cowgirl town for one night only. That’s right. A 7,000 square foot indoor town full of cowgirls. Lesbian cowgirls. Eat, drink and spit like a cowgirl in the desert town that is Django Bango. Made entirely of wood, Django Bango is a bona fide buckaroo town with sprawling multi-storey buildings and dusty streets; complete with a saloon bar, creaky church confessional and the risk of jail-time for any outlaws. Folks are free to roam the land, feast on street food from American style food stalls, or drop in to the general stores to pick up their cowboy clobber. Expect the same welcome and friendly vibes as all our HER events. The HER cowgirls will be pulling the pints, on the doors, judging the games and serving the food. Our events always provide the ideal opportunities for newbies to come and make friends. If you are coming on your own there will be HER Girls to help you mingle and feel welcome. Drinking and dancing in the streets is favoured in this town, and girl band Pretty Retro will be getting the dance floor buzzing. Guests can also curl up on bales of hay in one of the many softly lit country houses. The large saloon bar is stocked with reasonably priced beer and liquor and features the whistle-wetting signature cocktail Badlands Brew, to cowboy you up for action packed games such as the spitting platoon and gun range; all to the sweet sounds of live country music. Choose your best check shirt, we know you have a few, and come on down to cowgirl town. Django Bango is based in East London’s Brick Lane area, two minutes walk south of Whitechapel tube. May your belly never grumble, May your beer never end, May your horse never stumble, May your hashtag always trend. Saturday opening times: 7pm to 12am. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Even though Django Bango is held indoors, it's suggested you bring something warm to wear. Fancy dress is optional – most people turn up in jeans and check shirts. You can get Django Bango sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats at the cowboy clobber shop. If you check into Django Bango with a photo and show the small bar, you get a free cactus shot.
