This one is for the fans of whiskey: oh sweet, delicious whiskey. Make your way to Boisdale Of Canary Wharf for an evening of tasting the smooth and sultry notes of Hudson Whiskey, guided by whiskey connoisseur Tony Vanaria. Hudson distillery – the first distillery to operate in New York since prohibition times – use only locally sourced grains and produce only small batches. The whole process is done by hand, from the labelling to the wax-dipping. In 2010 Hudson Distillery was voted Best Artisan Distiller by the American Distilling Institute. Hudson Baby Bourbon: a classic bourbon, full of caramel and sweet vanilla notes, it is made from 100% New York corn, aged in tiny two-gallon barrels and 'sonically matured' with the help of bass speakers that agitate the cask and the liquid. Winner of the Gold Outstanding Medal at the International Wine And Spirits Competition 2013.
Hudson Four Grain Bourbon: made using the Tuthilltown distillery's unique recipe of the common grains used for a bourbon mashbill - corn, rye, malted barley and wheat. Like the company's flagship Baby Bourbon, Four Grain is aged in small casks to speed up maturation.
Hudson's Manhattan Rye: a long-overdue revival of the East Coast rye-making tradition. As with the Tuthilltown distillery's other products, Manhattan Rye has been double-distilled and aged in small casks.
