To mark the 40th anniversary of Hustlers Convention, the grandfather of rap himself, Jalal, will be performing the album with The Last Poets for the first time since its release. It coincides with the production of a new feature documentary, exploring the pioneering work by Jalal and his mark on the history of hip-hop. That’s pretty special. Taking place in London’s coolest of cat clubs, they’ll be joined by The Jazz Warriors International Collective and spoken word artist Malik & The OGs. Dayum. Downstairs standing. Over 18s only.
