Images From 42 Women Of Sierra Leone

A picture is worth a thousand words

After emerging from a cruel civil war in 2007, Sierra Leone was a country in need. Taken by British photographer Lee Karen Stow, this photo-documentary plays tribute to the strength and resilience of the women of Sierra Leone – attributes that have helped this small West African State recover and grow over the last decade. Inspiring to say the least. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
