Information Age

Technology and innovation through the ages

When the Science Museum's Information Age gallery was opened by the Queen, her first tweet made headlines. The world has come a long way since the Coronation was beamed globally in 1953. This fascinating exhibition is divided into six zones, covering The Cable, The Telephone Exchange, Broadcast, The Constellation, The Cell and The Web. The pace of technological innovation over the last 200 years has been dizzying, as the Information Age spectacularly shows. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
