Just for Laughs Festival: The Early Edition

Don't want to read the papers anymore? Don't worry, these guys do it for you

Just For Laughs Festival is a celebration of the best live music, theatre, comedy and family programs from around the world and here at home. Hosted in London, we have the perfect city for such a broad range of art to be both appreciated and enjoyed. Get ready for laughs, tears and a lot of incredible works from every genre imaginable. If you are of the opinion that every page of your Sunday paper is filled with doom, destruction and downfall, well...The Early Edition understands. Now comes a current affairs comedy show that questions all those assumptions, a show that ridicules the naysayers, unravels the spin and pooh-poohs the pomposity of headline print. Early Edition is a unique comedy experience, and the stage version of the fantastically successful BBC TV show The Late Edition. Just like the television version, Early Edition features comedian Marcus Brigstocke and Andre Vincent – writer and performer of his award winning show Hurrah for Cancer, based on his own experiences. Marcus and Andre, along with their special guests, informally review today’s newspapers, and there’s not much that won’t come under the teams satirical knives with blisteringly funny results. "He possesses the energy of Lee Evans with the improvisational skills of Paul Merton and is one of the best comedians in the business." – The Times "Ferociously funny." – The Sunday Times Not recommended for under 16s. Runtime: 1 hour.
