Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty's, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts. These nights are centred around originality. Expect to see new material written and rehearsed at the bar that week by groups curated specifically for the night. For this one welcome Theon Cross. - Theon's trio is a jazz trio unlike any we know- tuba, saxophone, and drums. Theon can hold down any groove from a New Orleans second line to drum and bass.
