La Sylphide puts romance in ballet in two majestic acts. Originally choreographed by Filippo Taglioni in 1832, with a newer version choreographed by August Bournonville in 1836, it's Australia's Queensland Ballet turn to give it a go. The Peter Schaufuss production includes third generation of Royal Danish Bournonville trained, Tara and Luke Schaufuss as well as The Royal Ballet’s Francesca Hayward and QLB’s Yanela Piñera. Sit back and watch elegance, grace and poise unveil in front of your eyes.
