And while we can’t be there right now, we can offer you the next best thing. The Lakes & Mountains Spring Sessions, presented by Time Out and TUI Lakes & Mountains, are bringing the best of Europe’s lakes and mountains to your city.

This particular ‘Crafts and Gelato’ event – a hot ticket, if you ask us – channels the essence of Lake Garda. When is it?

Sunday May 19. Choose between sessions at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Sessions are approximately 75 minutes (60 minute mosaic workshop followed by gelato).

Run by Create Mosaic, these mosaic sessions are suitable for any kind of artist. Let out your inner Pietro Cavallini and leave with a masterpiece that you can proudly hang on your wall or give to a loved one. You’ll take part in an hour-long session, making a 15cm x 15cm lemon motif coaster, inspired by Lake Garda, with delicious Gelatorino gelato being passed around after the session. You’ll be inspired to book your trip in no time.

Need to know

• Your ticket is valid for one entry to Lakes & Mountains Spring Sessions: Crafts and Gelato in London at The Orangery at TT Liquor on Sunday, May 19 at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm or 6pm.
• Please ensure you select the correct time at checkout as your ticket will only be valid for your selected time and date.
• This event is restricted to those aged 18 and over.
• Please arrive approx. 5-10 minutes before the start time of your chosen session.
• Gelato will be vegan and alcohol-free.
• Due to the nature of the building there is no lift access. The event space is on the second floor so please bear this in mind when booking.
• Your ticket includes entry for one to a 60-minute taster mosaic workshop, followed by gelato.
• Once sold out additional tickets will not be available for purchase on the door. All tickets must be purchased online.
