Phil Wang, Jason Forbes and George Fouracres, collectively but not constantly known as Daphne, have been writing comedy together for nearly half a decade as lowly students, but it wasn’t until September 2014 that they decided to make a go of it professionally. Since then they have won the Best New Act award at London SketchFest 2015 and a earned a Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer. As a student, Jack Barry wrote and performed as part of the critically acclaimed Leeds Tealights from 2009-11, twice taking shows to the Edinburgh Festival, being named the best student sketch group at the 2010 Fringe.
