Join London Craft Club for a fabulous afternoon at Drink Shop Do, learning how to work with leather. Leather is lovely to work with but it can be a bit intimidating if you've never used it before. So they've teamed up with Rosanna Gethin of Rosanna Clare Handmade Accessories to create the perfect introduction to hand working leather. Rosanna's gorgeous collection of colourful geometric pieces is the inspiration for the session so you'll get a range of bright leathers to choose from at the start. As ever, all materials are supplied complementary so you don't need to bring anything along with you. Over the two hours you'll learn the foundation skills: cutting leather using a rotary cutter and a punch, vital hand-sewing and gluing methods and how to monogram your work. You'll get a choice of coloured leathers to use, and you'll make a leather tassel keyring and a leather card holder, monogrammed with your initials. You'll leave having tried all the key skills to get you on the right track to working with leather. This is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon – you'll learn something new and make something cool, too. Over 18s only. Valid ID required.
