LGSO are back and raring to perform the classics in the superlative fashion that is their stock-in-trade. The orchestral group will be kickstarting the new season with a rousing rendition of Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture followed by Elgar’s Cello Concerto, to mark the centenary of the Great War. Finally, Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 will bring the event to a suitably stirring conclusion. Over 12s only.
