The London Hungarian Symphony Orchestra play masterpieces this evening in a rousing celebration of all things revolutionary. This is music inspired by rebellion in Europe during the 1800s. Opera excerpts from Ferenc Erkel and Beethoven’s Symphony No 3 set the tone, by an orchestra who cross cultural boundaries.
Programme:
- Ferenc Erkel: Opera-excerpts from Bánk Bán, Hunyadi László, and Dózsa György
- Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No 3 "Eroica"
- Ceremonial speech by the Representative of the Hungarian Embassy
