Tonight, the London Philharmonic Orchestra performs a selection of colourful orchestral favourites, including Dvořák’s triumphant Seventh Symphony, requested by the Society itself back in 1884. This epicness is prefaced by Zoltán Kodály’s folk-inspired Dances Of Galánta, and by Einstein-lookalike Edvard Grieg’s famed Piano Concerto – a classic draped in flowing melodies and dramatic flourishes.
