The London Philharmonic Orchestra – founded by Sir Thomas Beecham in 1932 – is one of the world's finest symphony orchestras, balancing a long and distinguished history with a reputation as one of the UK's most adventurous and forward-looking orchestras. As well as giving classical concerts and opera performances in the UK and internationally, the orchestra also record film and video game soundtracks, have their own record label, and reach thousands of people every year through activities for schools and local communities. Join Alexander Raskatov for a pre-concert talk, as he discusses the world premiere of his new work – Green Mass. Please be aware, this ticket does not entitle you to stay for the paid concert that follows and you will have to vacate the auditorium once this talk finishes. Talk duration: 20 minutes. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed.
