London Radical Bookfair + Alternative Press Takeover 2015

A literary fair you'll love

Organised by the Alliance of Radical Booksellers, this is an event that aims to bring the UK’s radical booksellers together to meet in person with publishers and the reading public. The bookfair also allows the ARB to award its two annual book prizes: the Bread and Roses Award for Radical Publishing and the Little Rebels Children’s Book Award. It's an amazing opportunity for all bookworms to enter a very special literary environment and learn amongst others the ins and outs of print-making and book-binding. Talks and panel discussions sneak peak: - Stitched Up: The Anti-Capitalist Book of Fashion by Tansy E. Hoskins - In the Name of the People: Angola's Forgotten Massacre by Lara Pawson + Jo Godfrey - Syria Speaks: Art and Culture from the Frontline by Zaher Omareen + Malu Halasa This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny. Take your in app ticket and show it to Housmans bookshop stand and receive a free gift (subject to availability). The free gifts offered include a Housmans Bookshop cloth bag, 2015 Diary and double Peace Not War CD featuring Public Enemy, Coldcut, Roots Manuva, Massive Attack amongst many others.
