Free lunchtime concert series


Discover more about the music and instruments of the London Symphony Orchestra in the beautiful setting of the Jerwood Hall in specially designed concerts by LSO musicians and students from the Guildhall School. The concerts offer an informal introduction to the LSO and the world of music-making. Program: 13 May: LSO Principal Flute Gareth Davies performs music inspired by the English countryside before and during World War I. This concert will also be live streamed on the LSO's YouTube channel and Facebook page. 3 June: Music inspired by the English countryside before and during World War I, featuring singers and pianists from the Guildhall School. 24 June: LSO violist Robert Turner performs music inspire by the British countryside in the early 20th century. 1 July: Music inspired by the English countryside before and during World War I, with LSO Principal Cello Rebecca Gilliver. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. You need to be registered to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
