Music Supervisor Gary Welch of Eyehear has provided music supervision to numerous feature, short films and documentaries including online short films for Red Bull TV. This session will clarify some of the confusion related to music licensing and clearance, offer tips to young filmmakers but also to young composers who want to have their music used in films. With an editor and a composer in attendance, the panel will discuss and use bright examples to prove a very well known but sometimes forgotten point: A scene or even an entire film can shine with the right piece of music.
