Coming straight outta Louisiana with a voice that could charm a gargoyle is Lucinda Williams. The veteran folk rocker has been ploughing her own furrow since the late '70s, with a string of acclaimed albums and a Grammy for Best Country Song in 1994 with "Passionate Kisses".
