We’ve teamed up with Nescafé Azera to help you cultivate your curiosity this July. We’re taking over a space at the Truman Brewery for four days, filling it with creatives and curating a load of awesome events. Want to know more? Well, here’s the skinny on one talented guy taking part, Luke Rollason. We hope you’re feeling curious…
He’s been described as a ‘solo ecological clown’ and that sounds just about spot on. And although his message about the devastating fate that awaits our planet, it’s wrapped in wrapped in surreal brilliance. Luke’s going to be showcasing his brilliantly low-budget ‘Planet Earth III’, a one-man nature doc set in a world of ecological collapse, in which this plucky intern armed with just office supplies and his imagination brings back to life the flora and fauna of the world as once was. It’s absurd and utterly brilliant. Where else might you see sellotape-spinning spiders, fan-powered hummingbirds and an onstage, entirely improvised seahorse birthing sequence? Only here, people, only here.
