Can you truly be yourself when you are stuck in religious conventions? This production of Measure For Measure shows the struggle of between being oneself and following the rules of one’s religion. Set in a present day Bible belt village in the Netherlands, people go about their everyday lives wearing a mask for the world and for themselves. Their façades start to fall apart when the Duke decides to leave and give the authority over to the seemingly stern Angelo. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
