Menuhin Competition London 2016 Opening Concert

World class violinists perform with the Philharmonia Orchestra

The prestigious Menuhin Competition returns to London for the first time in 12 years, celebrating the centenary of legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin. The Philharmonia Orchestra will be joined by former winners Tasmin Little and Ray Chen to perform in the Competition’s celebratory opening concert. The music takes us on an absorbing musical journey through the powerhouse Romanticism of Brahms’ Violin Concerto, the soaring eloquence of Holst’s A Song of the Night and the sounds of Spain in Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie. Simply blissful. Over 7s only. If booking multiple tickets please make sure to book from one account at the same time if you want to be seated together; you will be allocated the best available seats in the selected seating area.
