Sketch comedy quartet Mixed Doubles make their debut at The Clapham Fringe with their distinctive brand of rapid-fire humour. Since forming in 2012, the collective of Paul, Megan, Will and Rose have won a Dave Comedy Award for their viral ‘Modern Conversation’, graced the airwaves of BBC Radio 4 as part of ‘Sketchorama’ and enjoyed acclaimed runs at both the Edinburgh and Adelaide Festivals in 2013/14 respectively. Drawing on a nostalgic blend of Not the Nine O’Clock News, Smack the Pony and Big Train, the group’s writing has a joyful and innocent quality, complimented by the killer punch lines and high-energy performances of this effervescent foursome.
Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted. This is part of the first ever Clapham Fringe.
