Get ready for a super-serving of silver screen. That's right, Charterhouse Bar are hosting a weekly cinema night; turning Monday night from "nah, thanks..." to "hollaaaaa, hell yeahhhhh." They've got romance, they've got Spacey, they've got slacker-classics and they've got loads more besides. American Beauty (22 Feb) - Lester Burnham is a gainfully employed suburban husband and father. Starring Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening and Thora Birch Gridlock’d (7 Mar) - After a friend overdoses, Spoon and Stretch decide to kick their drug habits and attempt to enroll in a government detox program. Their efforts are hampered by seemingly endless red tape, as they are shuffled from one office to another while being chased by drug dealers and the police. Directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall. Starring Tupac Shakur, Tim Roth and Thandie Newton. Clerks (14 Mar) - A day in the lives of two convenience clerks named Dante and Randal as they annoy customers, discuss movies, and play hockey on the store roof. Directed by Kevin Smith. Starring Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson and Marilyn Ghigliotti. Reservoir Dogs (21 Mar) - After a simple jewelery heist goes terribly wrong, the surviving criminals begin to suspect that one of them is a police informant. Directed by Quentin Tarantino.
