Music, like art, can assume many forms. Whitechapel Gallery champions the experimental side of both mediums via its Music for Museums series. American composer Conlon Nancarrow (1912–'97) was prized for his quirky piano pieces that were fiendishly complex. Join composer and percussionist Dominic Murcott as he performs some of Nancarrow’s most beguiling works alongside his own compositions. This is music but not as you know it.
This is a standing event, with limited seating provided on request.
