Cast aside all memories of school being a chore: at New Scientist Live, science is brought to life in a four-day festival at the ExCeL Centre. More than 140 speakers (including scientists, celebrities, astronauts, physicists, biologists, engineers, neuroscientists and mathematicians) join more than 120 exhibitors come together in one venue to create an unrivalled atmosphere and energy.

The whole thing is set up across five immersive zones, with curated talks every hour covering things like the cosmos, the human race, tech, engineering and the earth. So if you want the answers to some of life’s deepest questions, like what might the first aliens we encounter look like? Or What’s the weather like on Saturn’s moons?
