The Royal Albert Hall and Sadler’s Wells present producer, songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and orchestral composer Nitin Sawhney in this one-off concert at the Royal Albert Hall following the release of his latest album Dystopian Dream. Sawhney, an extraordinary, distinctive and versatile musical voice, is joined by a host of other special guests, including Joss Stone and genre-smashing contemporary dance duo Honji Wang and Sébastien Ramirez performing new, specially-commissioned choreography. Sawhney has collaborated with and written for artists including Paul McCartney, Sting, London Symphony Orchestra, Anoushka Shankar, Ellie Goulding, Cirque Du Soleil, and Akram Khan and continues to tour internationally. Ramirez and Wang’s hip hop dance roots have developed into a unique style blending hip hop with contemporary dance, with nods to ballet and martial arts, ideally complementing Sawhney’s celebrated music.
