Nomad Cinema Presents: Psycho (15)

Hitchcock classic in Central London hotspot!

Join us for the fourth annual Grosvenor Film Festival in Grosvenor Square, with some of the best pop-up cinema on offer. The mother of modern suspense films, Alfred Hitchcock's greatest masterpiece revolutionised the genre and left a lasting mark on pop culture. Janet Leigh stars as Marion Crane, a Phoenix secretary who steals $40,000 from her employer, goes on the run and checks into a remote motel run by the disturbed Norman Bates, played brilliantly by Anthony Perkins in the role that would define his career. Filmed in black and white with long, tense shots including little dialogue, Hitchcock crafts a slow burning suspense that leaves you constantly on edge. Teasing you from its opening moments, Psycho twists and turns down a dark path taking you far from its original course to somewhere much more terrifying; the Bates' Motel. Please note: tickets include £15 (seated on the ground, feel free to bring along your own blankets, cushions etc) or £20 (seated in chairs). Please also note: the film will be silent with Wi-Fi headsets provided. DOORS - 8pm, FILM 9:30pm We are unable to offer refunds for this event.
