City Point Plaza, nestled within the heart of the city, hosts screenings to celebrate the area. Sponsored by Brookfield Property Partners the plaza hosts a screen showing Queens Tennis in the day for free, along with the opportunity to purchase street food from the Brockley Market Team. The Goonies is from a time when VHS was just overtaking Betamax, when the Cold War was in technicolor and double denim was a serious option. Steven Spielberg, Chris Columbus and Richard Donner team up in a trifecta of 80's action/adventure. The Goonies stars young versions of Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton as a group of misfits who set out to find a pirate's ancient treasure in order to save their home from foreclosure. All tickets include a seat and Wi-Fi headphones that will be distributed at the screening Box Office.
