Directed by Lindsay Anderson, O Lucky Man! examines Britain's imperial past. That much can be said for certain, but further attempts at deconstructing the 1973 flick start to founder. It stars Malcolm McDowell as coffee salesman Mick Travis and satirises the English high life. Oh, and the final scene sees director Lindsay Anderson playing a director in a casting call. That's right, O Lucky Man! is a film within a film. Don't ask questions – just watch it. Whatever it is, we think you'll enjoy it. Latecomers may not be admitted.
