The Raindance Opening Night Gala after party will follow the world premiere screening of pacy espionage thriller, 'Newcomer' – the opening night film of the 23rd Raindance Film Festival. The evening will be featuring a live performance from Little Barrie and a DJ set by Tronik Youth in the luscious surroundings of Café de Paris in Soho. Little Barrie gained a strong reputation playing late night gigs in clubs around the centre of the capital and releasing 7 singles on small independent labels. A reputation which led them to meet their long term mentor and collaborator ‘Edwyn Collins’ who has since produced three of the bands four studio albums. In 2015 the band were personally invited to write and perform the main title theme to the phenomenally successful ‘Better Call Saul'. On the road the band have opened for The Stone Roses, Dinosaur Jr., Charles Bradley, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Primal Scream. Tronik Youth is Neil Parnell well respected DJ, Producer and label boss of Nein Records in the UK. Tronik Youth has released over 75 remixes and 25 singles over the last decade, with current singles “Splinter of the Mind’s Eye” and “The Healer” to much critical acclaim. Over 18s only. One drink included upon arrival.
