Lynne Segal examines her life, the lives of other writers, and the dangers and delights of growing old. Mixing memoir, research, polemic, and literature, she follows in the footsteps of Simone de Beauvoir (let’s face it, big shoes to fill!). Bigged up by Judith Butler, this is a chance to see a feminist thinker who explores the baby boomer generation as they approach their sixth or seventh decade.
