Jazz legend Jorge Rossy joins young international band lead by British drummer Phelan Burgoyne for a one-time only programme of originals, music from the Tristano school and classic standards. Jorge Rossy - Vibraphone Sam Braysher - Alto Saxophone Linus Eppinger - Guitar Tilman Oberbeck – Double Bass Phelan Burgoyne - Drums Jorge Rossy has toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in Jazz; Lee Konitz, Charlie Haden, Wayne Shorter and Kurt Rosenwinkel. He also held the drum chair in the Brad Mehldau trio from 1995 - 2005. Since then he has transitioned from Drums to Vibraphone and has just released a new album on Pirouet Records - "Stay There" featuring Al Foster, Mark Turner, Peter Bernstein and Doug Weiss. Phelan Burgoyne (1994) is a British drummer and composer currently living and working between Basel, Switzerland and London, UK. He has studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London with Jeff Williams and Martin France and the Jazz Campus, Basel with Jorge Rossy, Jeff Ballard, Larry Grenadier and Guillermo Klein.
