Composer Jakub Hrůša is taking the Philharmonia Orchestra reigns tonight. They're performing Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov, in a semi-staged performance. This Russian masterpiece is based on Pushkin's play and follows the tsar through the early 1600s in a tale of splendour, suffering and power. They'll also be powering through the likes of Borodin, Cui and Rimsky-Korsakov.
