Pianist Louis Lortie Plays Faure + Scriabin

A special tribute from a modern day virtuoso

There are many piano players but there is only one Louis Lortie. The virtuoso’s emotive style has been met with universal acclaim. To mark the centenary of Alexander Scriabin's death, the pianist is performing two of his finest preludes at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, sandwiched between majestic works by Gabriel Fauré. If anyone can do these distinguished composers justice, it’s Louis Lortie. Over 7s only. A pre-concert discussion with Louis Lortie takes place at 6:15pm.
