Pillow Cinema: Eden

A screening of the suprisingly superb Daft Punk inspired DJ flick

It's time for a cinema revolution…and it's gonna be stuffed with feathers. Situated in the heart of East London, Pillow Cinema have transformed the stunning Tudor home Sutton House into a cosy space filled with fatboy bean bags. They’ll be screening a great range of films, so come and join them for the loveliest, comfiest, cosiest cinema experience this side of a fluffy cloud. For this screening, catch Eden, the French film directed by Mia Hansen-Løve and featuring a Daft Punk soundtrack. The film centres around Paul Vallée, a young French student with a penchant for raving and electronic music. As he grows older, his relationship with music, and the world around him grows complicated. Critically well-received, Eden has been somewhat of a sleeper hit; this is your chance to catch on an awesome film that you may well have missed out on the first time around. "Absorbing and very moving. Five out of five." – The Guardian "Every substrata of music geekdom deserves a period piece as intimate as Eden, Mia Hansen-Løve's swan song for the golden era of French house music." – Slant Magazine Certificate: 15. Running time: 2 hours 11 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes before film start time.
