PIllow Cinema: Jack Frost

Not Batman, not Birdman – Michael Keaton is snowman

The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screenings they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. Michael Keaton might have been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his memorable rendition of Birdman earlier this year but for this one we're turning back the clock to 1998 when he used to be Jack Frost. A father, who can’t keep his promises, dies in a car accident. One year later, he returns as a snowman, who has the final chance to put things right with his son before he is gone forever. Certificate: PG. Runtime: 1 hour 41 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
