Pillow Cinema: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Wes Anderson sprinkles his magic powder once more

The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screening s they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. For this one get ready for Wes Anderson's classic-in-the-making, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Set between the first and second World Wars, The Grand Budapest Hotel tells the story of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous hotel from the fictional Republic of Zubrowka, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. Follow them on their adventure through art theft, family feuds and on-going cross-continental conflicts, all set in Wes’ meticulously planned, highly stylised world. With 4 Oscars and 5 BAFTAs under its belt, this is perhaps Wes Anderson at his very best. Certificate: 15. Runtime: 1 hour 39 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
