Catch a classic valentine's flick accompanied by smooth RnB and Spoken Word If snuggling into a beanbag with a glass of wine, beautiful live poetry and a classic flick sounds like Valentine’s Day heaven, look no further…Block Party Cinema’s got you! On February 14th we’ll be returning to Juju’s Bar & Stage, a romantic cavernous warehouse space in the heart of Brick Lane, for a pop up screening of Poetic Justice (1993). Directed by John Singleton, Poetic Justice is an era defining love story filled with passion and poetry. Arguably Tupac Shakur’s greatest acting performance, Poetic Justice opens a window into the realities of life and love in 90’s LA. Drawing on the films inspirational Maya Angelou poetry, artists will perform some of their most personal work, in a live spoken word exhibition before the film. DJ’s will also be spinning the best in smooth RnB and Soul before and after the screening. Join us for a laid back evening filled with popcorn popping fun for both lovers and friends! Over 18s only. Sofa packages seat 2 people and include unlimited popcorn, a bottle of wine and a blanket.
